All our futon mattresses are made in the traditional way, both filled and buttoned by hand, not mechanically, to ensure a
smooth and even finish. They are supplied with a 100% natural cotton case and buttoned using a revolutionary
natural "flush" button. This has the advantage that nothing sticks into you whilst sleeping. Colour can be acheived
with the option of a removable cover. Or the futon mattress can be supplied in a range of coloured fabrics, buttoned with covered uphostery buttons to give a tailored appearance. All our natural futon bed mattresses comply with British fire regulations.

Please note, all our futons are 75" long, and the measurements given refer to the width. On these pages you will
find the prices for futon mattresses only.

We make many types of futons, all cotton mattresses, futons that are filled with all recycled materials and different
thicknesses of foams. The futons that we list below are the two principles futon mattresses which have shown
themselves to be most popular and practical over the last twenty five years. There is an option with both of these to
increase the tickness of foam in the core if you believe that your mattress is going to get particularly heavy wear.

Please do not hesitate to call us if you have a different requirement to those shown. e.g. you want your futon made in your
own fabric, or different fillings.

Trifold futon mattresses

This is our most popular futon that we supply as standard with all our trifold bases, i.e. when the futon mattress folds back on itself. This is a good regular use futon. We also offer the option of an extra layer of foam

All our futons have a thick top and bottom layer of natural cotton which is very important to give you, perfect insulation to cool you in summer and warm you in winter. The centre of the futon is filled with layers of felt with a foam/polyester core for resilience.

Bifold futon Mattresses

This is the mattress that we supply as standard on all our bifold futon bases, i.e. when you are only sitting on one thickness, unlike trifolds where you sit on the mattress folded back. if you think that your futon is going to get heavy wear, add another thickness of foam.
